Dave's Standard Slingshot Starter Kit contains:
1: Standard Slingshot frame that gives you the best options for band selection ranging from tubes to rubber bands, they all fit. If it is latex then you can use it to catapult your ammo!
1: Installed easy pull (about 25 lbs. draw weight) .4mm thick flat latex bands that shoot faster then tubes. Most kids should have no problem pulling them unlike tubes sold by corporate brands like Barnet, Marksman, Daisy and so on. There are unlimited band type options online.
1: Medium pull .6mm flat band as a backup and to give hunting capabilities for steel ammo. It's not how hard it is to pull but how fast the ammo travels!
6: Zip ties for attaching bands of any type. These are available at most hardware stores like ACE, Tractor Supply and so on!
100: 1/4" Steel balls for hunting or to reuse in a catch box or just hang up a towel behind your target. Pretty easy to pull but will kill most rodents like rats! A .25" steel ball flying at 230 feet per second will make anyone want to get out of that path! That is pain being severed! It's not a gun but sends a message without killing someone!
200: Biodegradable 5/16" clay ammo balls that disintegrate when wet.
The frame and handle are hand made in the USA but the bands and ammo are from China. Rubber comes from Asia and also the aluminum. We want to be 100% American made but don't have any other options. The starter kit is a easy way to start shooting to get a idea of what band types works for you! It's a one frame rules them all!
